Cow days

Pretty cows out eating the grass
I know what will soon come to pass

You will not be content to stay
You will want to run far away

The neighbors will call in the night
It will give us quite a big fright

But we will know why they're calling
It's because our cows are bawling

They're down the road a mile or two
And they're right in the neighbors view

We'll roll out of bed, grumbling
And walk to the road, stumbling

We'll herd up the cows, put them in
Then we'll go back to bed again
