Waiting for Perfection

I stand here, watching, waiting, longing to see the perfect day, hoping to see the perfect sight, longing to meet the perfect friend... Waiting for world peace, waiting for the perfect day, waiting for perfection, wondering if there will ever be such a thing as a "perfect" day, wondering if everyone could truly live hand in hand peacefully without violent wars. I stand here wondering if somewhere in our vast universe there is a "perfect" place.
