Deaths sting
A time of hurt.
S T I N G I N G tears
Dripping like heavy rain drops.
A time of darkness
R E A C H I N G for the touch of her smooth wrinkled fingers
L I S T E N I N G of the sound of her soft voice
S E A R C H I N G for her particular smell
W I S H I N G for the one you love
A time of enlightenment.
The gift of her memories,

her wide wild embrace,

her love and tenderness,

the brightness in her eyes.
She now becomes your angel:
by your side in time of hurt,

darkness,

and enlightenment
