I fell in love when I saw him standing there
Beautiful like a rose, but covered in thorns
His amber eyes glistened, so inviting
His perfect smile glowed, so irresistible
His deep voice called, so intoxicating
I broke my way through the thorns
And captured the boy’s heart
But who am I to deserve his love, so pure and good?
Who am I to be blessed with the presence of this angel?
