"To be great is to be misunderstood." ((Ralph Waldo Emerson))

To my Beloved;

You need to know that I tried.
You have to understand that I felt there was no other way.
You did make me happy – please don't ever doubt that.
I still love you – don't you dare every forget that.

You're the only thing I'll miss about this place.
The way we talked, and laughed, and kissed, and embraced.
I thoroughly enjoyed being in love with you.
But the pleasure was not nearly as great as the torture.

The pain was simply unbearable.
The world was all too hateful for me to tolerate any longer.
Just do me a favor and remember me,
Because if you don't, no one will.

Baby, I beg you not to cry
Know that as I was writing this -
As I was carrying out my plan -
I was smiling for the first time in oh so long.

I know it will be hard for you to let go
But you must see that it was harder for me to hold on
Until finally I lost my grip
And now I fall gracefully into Death's open arms

This is the first and last time you will
Ever see me in the arms of another
Just know I'm in a better place
I believe they call it "Heaven".

I hope you move on. I pray you find someone new.
It should be easy – after all, you're perfect.
You were my beautiful fantasy in the midst of ugly reality;
My dream within the nightmare.

You were my everything.
But just not enough to keep me here.
I'm sorry – but I'm honest.
Please find it in your heart to forgive me.

Until death do us part…
I miss you…
I love you…
See you again soon…

I really enjoyed reading this article but I found it to be a little repetitive. Other than that, I loved it
