Stupid

I’m tired of feeling stupid,
Because I know I’m not,
And I can prove it,
If you just give me a chance,
I’m not ignorant,
And I’m not naïve,
No, I’m just as intelligent as you,
If not more so,
Not conceited,
But I can see through the lies,
I’m not as dumb as I feel,
I can’t be,
Because I’m not,
But there’s just something inside me,
It pushes me down,
And it holds me there,
Keeps me from knowing,
From feeling,
From believing…
Make it go,
Leave me alone…
