Opening The Door

Last time I was in this position
I made many mistakes
Took every wrong turn
Believed every stupid lie
As i still struggle to close that door
I try to open a new door
This door is ppurple
Full of hope and happiness
A new me, a me were i am not weak at the knees
a STRONG me
Who is independent, smart, and beautiful
But still infront of the wrong door
im keeping me from who i want to be
a past that will forever haunt me
Though i know i will close that door
I will walk away from my pain
I will become a new me
That new door I will Open
