My feelings are not felt by you
‘Cause you never really thought it through
You didn’t think a girl like me
Could ever want could ever need
So much attention
And affection
You never heard me cry
But all I ask is why
You never held me close and near
You never said “I love you dear.”
And never once did you tell me
That our love would face infinity
And so my unheard voice will remain
In your mind, it makes you go insane
That unheard voice will be the only thing that stays the same
And so I hope you learned
That love has trust and is always earned
