Scared
Afraid
Trying to shut out the world
Hiding from their voices
A search for safety in vain
It’s scary to be alone
I want to run from this
But I can’t escape
I’m trapped
On my knees, praying for a way
I’m drowning in fear
Can’t anyone see?
No, I suppose not.
Everyone’s scared as well.
Scary, isn’t it?
