I remember so vividly the day you died
I remember being angry and how I cried
I remember believing that your death wasn’t true
I remember thinking I could come home and see you
I remember feeling lifeless and all alone
I remember those who said "I'm sorry she's gone"
I remember closing my eyes and seeing your face
I remember realizing you were in a better place
