Take my heart and rip it apart.
Oh wait, you’ve already done that.
What more do you want?
My blood? My soul? What?
I want to blame you so badly; but I can’t.
It’s not your fault. Destiny picked a different path than I wished.
Hopefully in the end it’s the right path.
Take care, but don’t look back.
You can’t have me again.
Being broken once is enough.
I can’t take it twice.
Love was almost in my grasp, but it slid through the holes of my life.
You’re my beginning, my end, my something different.
But now…I’m your nothing.

The author's comments:
The feeling of having your heart ripped out and the person doing so, not having the least bit of regret, though no matter how much you wish, you can't blame them for it, is what gave me the inspiration to write this. I hope that people will learn from the mistakes they make and not make them twice.
