“Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.”

if I too could,

reach up high the fiery depths
of darkness—

towards the blinding abyss
engulf the bright stars of black

with an insane passion—

insane sanity
an obsession quenched
by a thirst of a thousand
dying seas

grasping at
certain ghosts of
unfulfilled dreams

with tainted Machiavellian hands—

a worthless war and
a victory un-won,
deafening cries
shout a lifeless
silence…

devoid of all emotion!
devoid from all compassion

devoid
of all
