Jumping

Perfect

This was it,

My horses hooves pounded the ground,

as if it were beating something.

Hard and rhythmic.

The jump was up ahead.

Anticipation and eagerness raced through my body in excitement,

His long legs stretching into his big canter stride.

I gathered my reins just the right amount to control him.

Got into my two-point position, relaxed my legs,

and glided over the jump like there was nothing to it.

flying through the air.

Smoothly, we landing on the ground.

First place,

Amazing,

Perfect.
