Border Control

Maybe it was childhood
Or maybe it was life in general
That made my borders so impossibly stout

You might be my friend
But I am Japan
I let watery protection surround my soul

What would happen if I let you venture to me?
Probably nothing but swelling in our camaraderie
But maybe you would see my domestic weaknesses
Then who knows when you will make your attack

I must have unconsciously decided to not let you on a ship
I decided you will not know my middle name

I decided to be alone
