Frozen
Dark
Cold
Still
All words described my heart
No beat
No breathe
No in nor ex-hale
Wounds,
Left festering.
Blistering in the sun.
Memories,
Attack
Never letting me forget.
About a love,
Lost and gone
Never to come back
Words said,
All lies.
Once love,
Now despise.
And now here I lay
Through day, and night
Crying
Remembering,
Holding myself tight.
And on I will cry
And on I will hold,
That’s all I can do
Now that I don’t have,
You.
