Pink dawn over the horizon
Shadows dancing off the mountains.
Clouds tinted with color
Sky as vivid as a rainbow.
It's on fire.
Wind whips through the dead trees
They tremble.
Birds hide in their nests
They sing.
Predator and Prey stop just a moment
They look up and see heaven on earth.
Everything is still.
Everything is holding its breath.
