My Shoulder
I'm standing in the lunch line with my friends when I notice you come up behind us.
I turn and say hi then turn back around after you say hi back.
I pretend to talk with my friends while secretly looking at you.
We seem to be getting closer.
Is it gravity?
Natural?
Love?
A sign were suppose to be together?
Suddenly your right at my shoulder.
I feel like you want to tell me something.
My eyes start to burn and I walk back to my table before the tears come.
I miss you like you would never know.
You were my best friend and you left me alone.
You stand at my shoulder and I want to tell you everything.
You stand at my shoulder like you want to tell me everything.
Stand at my shoulder one more time and come back and be mine.
