Say Girl
Can I be your eyes?
I got to admit,
You’re the ground,
And I’m digging you
Like a grave.
Now do they call you?
Daughter of spinning stars
Or
Queen of 1000 moons.
Eyes of the distance,
Yet a rising star.
Is that a smile I put on your
Face child?
Wide as a field of jasmine and lavender
Talk that talk and walk that walk
You walk in the distance
Trying to see what you want to see.
Who am I?
That’s not important
I follow you in the distance
Your shadow in the dark
Who am I?
I am the eyes of the
Night
