Slumber

Drowning in these nightmares,
I slowly fade away
To a world where I’ll
Sleep…sleep forever.
(How long?)
Shuddering,
I know I’ll never leave
In peace.
Wearing a façade of
Stitched eyes
And
Stitched mouth.
No one will notice that
There is no hurt,
There is no pain,
There is no anger
Showing on my face.
Because,
They’re all the same.
(Such a shame.)

My tears turn crimson
As I try to remove the threads,
It’s no use.
I collapse, I want to scream, but can’t…
Being cursed by silence.
A pale sliver cast shadows down onto my crumpled figure.
Clutching my soul as I
Feel them was over me.
So soothing…I sleep.
