A bird is free
Flying high
Looks at the ground
And sees its kin
So weak and withered

A bird is dying
Looking for seeds
Looks at the sky
And sees its kin
So strong and free

The birds just gaze
Wondering whats wrong
Than they realize they are one

Through the mirrors and glass
Their sight is clouded

When the barriers shatter
The truth is now unveiled
The Glass Bird is now unreal

This poem i wrote my sophmore year for a project. I didn't realize at the time of how good it was, and how it can be interpreted.
