Toll That Life Brings. Life Rings

You can’t wait for the depression to take its course,
“WE WILL USE FORCE” he spews with his big yellow microphone,

You bellow in your sleep,
dreaming of the few that bleat in THEIR sleep,

You need to regret the fall,
the source of your headaches,
the sound your head makes,

You need less remorse the feeling,
the screaming, the peeling of skin drains you,
the lack of stimulation frames you in your fear,
your peers, trilling and filling you with their leery trust funds,

You must, you hast, you will,
No you won’t, you can’t have it, I will have it though,

You must throw everything you have away,
The sun, life, and day,

“You hast pay back your freedom to our country!”
you lay there on the table, singing and bringing life to this world,
this cold, cold world,

You must give up your soul.

You must pay the toll.
