Bottle of oblivion
It’s a shame, how the drunken soldier
Is defenseless without his wine
You see, he once had the most powerful mind
Now lost to a world “So very unkind”
We could only wish that words came easier than action
In hard times we seem to do anything
To find that satisfaction
Addiction consumes so rapidly
In such an unstable state
The oblivious pleasure
Leaves you unaware
Of how much is at stake
