Just A Girl
I love to laugh and smile
Even if its just for a while
I love to talk to my friends
Hoping the conversation never ends
I love to personalize my look
Not worrying how it is in the book
I love to sweat when I run
It shows me I get the job done
I love to think about mr. perfect
Soon me and that one will connect
There are times when I feel so high
But there are times when I cry
I cry about the pain I feel inside
A smile on my face cant help me hide
I cry about my friends leaving
They can move on yet Im still grieving
I cry when I see my flaws in the mirror
Wishing those pieces would disappear
I cry sometimes when Im defeated
Wanting those moments to be repeated
I cry after finding out you cheat
It seems like my heart can no longer beat
I can be happy or sad or plain crazy
But all these feelings describe me
I guess in the end my emotions swirl
What can I say...Im just a girl
