I knew you when you would walk slower
when a glance was sweet and not a glower
when I saw you often
because you made sure...
when a walk with you was a first time tour
now I know the displays too well
you've cleared the sand
I step on shells-
I'm in the stands
again...
last time I fell
because I thought I knew you
much too well.
