Not a Robot, Not a Slave

Bearing down
upon steel feet
stretching out
resisting heat
from a churning
burning fleet
dashing fast
before it meets
my softened will
resists deceit
dropping heavy
in thick sheets
whilst shrinking
from defeat
Iron will
won't conquer me.

Read this in one long statement like a run-on thought. i think everyone has felt this way at some point.
