Good Morning
The sound of the alarm means that it is dawn
And the battle begins
One side ambushes the other,
The other side resists, and a rain of bombs nearly obliterates the enemy
Not quite though
All is quiet, until the deafening sound of the alarm clangs once more
And the brawl begins afresh
Each side struggles to take over one another
One side aspires to win, but they know they shouldn’t
The other desires to lose the battle, but know they can’t
The alarm rings one last time
The battle is over
The soldiers disappear, as the field turns to mist
A boy cries out a thick yawn
He slips on his blue denim jeans
With his not ironed polo shirt
Takes his bag and walks to school
Full of fatigue
