Brand new
clean, crisp
white in color,
nicely folded.

Blood and sweat-stained
worn, torn,
showing evidence
of hard work.

Conceals the mistakes
of young teenager
inking themselves
with the names of their “lovers.”

Handed down
from an older sibling
a small hole, but it's okay
because it is mine now.
