Today they asked me where I live,
I answered, “In my head.”
They laughed and gave me that look that they give;
I could’ve explained, but I walked away instead.
Today I pondered my reply,
I wondered why they sneered.
They must think that I’m out of my mind;
But why is that so weird?
Today I have confidence in what I said,
I do not have to fret.
They also live inside their heads,
They just don’t know it yet.
