It starts perfect
A peaceful joy
Can’t wait to see what’s next

He gives me compliments all the way to the top
And then the chair drops
So this rollercoaster has ups and down
But what ride doesn’t

We argue
I blame him
He blames me
But I guess it’s a loop-de-loop
That every good ride has

He brought flowers and chocolates
But I went back down the hill when he said
“I don’t love you anymore”
I cry

This ride is scary
But he wants me there
He thinks we should talk

He holds me
Tells me he loves me

This rollercoaster is making me sick
Its up
Its down
Around and around

I tell him
“I want off this ride of your”
He says ok and lets me off
But for some reason I got back on
And it starts all over
