Remembrance This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

I hold a camera in my hand.
My eyes are exploring
in every path, in search of
re-inventing art.

I finally discover the memory
I've been longing to keep.

A blue baseball cap,
old Levi jeans,
and sun-kissed hair.
You stand still
and seize my stare.

Looking straight into
the lens
a smile appears.
I capture
the perfect picture.

I love this poem. So your perfect picture was a guy with a blue baseball cap, had levi jeans and had sun kissed hair, I love that part.

Yes! It's just finding that picture to take and then finding this perfect picture of this guy who is wearing a blue baseball cap, levi jeans and hair that was golden when the sun shined on his head and it was like sun kissed.

the picture doesn't match the poem, but anything can be a perfect picture if it means something to you.
