It's like a lone star in a pitch black sky.
Short phone calls,
quick compliments,
few words on each other's past.
Entwined hands,
meaningful stares,
a simple sentence.
A car ride phone call,
a reassurance,
a hand around your waist
Make a difference
when you see
how lonely you've been for a while.
