The Neglected Cries in the Dark
We lay and cry.
We wonder why we even try,
Because we never understood your lie.
Did we have an option,
To try and stop this action?
We had no power.
You hurt us like a crushed flower,
Especially in our own bower.
Was it our choice,
To be left without a voice?
We are the silent ones,
And if we finally speak it will weigh tons,
Because it will move millions,
They will finally know,
What happened all that time ago.
