Quit playing
With my heart
And I’ll stop
Playing with yours

We shouldn’t
Go playing games
If we don’t play
By the rules

So tell me now
Do you really
Love me
Or was that
Your little joke

This pastime
Of hide and seek
Is more difficult than most
Because we’re both
Good at being it

So I will say
It only once
I give up

You do what you please
And call me
When you’re through
With these childish games

When i was writing this poem i was breaking up with the person i was "dating". It was hard and i gave him this poem as kind of a question for him.
