Why can’t I speak?
My voice just freezes
Just innocent small talk spurts its self out of my throat.
Bu t the words I really want to say,
They hide deep in my neck,
Like a safe haven,
I see you walking away and with all my might,
“I like you, I’m sorry”
They come out finally,
A small accomplishment,
Too bad you weren’t loud enough for him to hear,
There is always tomorrow.
