Everywhere I look
A man and a woman
Are holding hands
A subtle sign of affection
One hand a receiver
The other a receiver
One hand a giver
The other a giver
Each one perfectly selfish and selfless
A scaled down version of an embrace
The intertwining of physical limbs
Reflects yearning for
Intertwining of spirit
To understand, to know
A physical testament to acceptance of a relationship
A testament to commitment
To status
To public expression
To mutual submission
Lone hands are cold
shaking
unsure
what about them?

wow this is really cool. i love the structure of this and the twist at the end. really well written. great job.
