If I could be a bird,
I would dance and flutter through out the sky.
Over flowers and mountain tops I would fly.
I would own all the meadows and every tree,
I would feel so invincible and so free,
If I could be a bird.
I would be me.

I wrote this poem in sixth grade and my teacher said it was really good, and that's when I really first realized I loved poetry. So this is the first real poem I wrote I think. Enjoy.
