You were always my buried treasure,
Hidden under the ground.
The little child lost in the woods
That never made a sound
A perfect shell among thousands broken
And scattered along the beach
My light of hope among the darkness
Always just out of reach
Now the one thing that keeps us together
Is the one thing that keeps us apart
Will we love the wrong person forever?
I curse this bleeding heart
