Heart throbbing.
Bent over in agony.
Floor spinning
beneath me.
Tears battle my eyes.
I search for you.
I reach for you.
Your stares like daggers
piercing my soul.
Stabbing me
in the gut.
Who are you?
Face of a lover.
Tongue of a stranger.
I still feel your touch.
Still feel your breath.
My world is shaken.
Now I only taste you
in my tears.
Remembering what was.
Whatever it was.
So this is goodbye.
So much for eternity.
All the wasted time.
All the wasted love.
All for nothing.
