Four of us sit in Grams silver SUV
Brent plays Cats-Cradle and laughs,
Hello “A” from Chicago.
A rubber band
Snaps back to Scott’s upper-lip,
Indiana Toll Road gives us the “L” we’ve needed.
Drowsy as we are, we keep a look out
Gazing ahead at the empty road,
Alert eyes scan Welcome to Michigan,
Hope for the last two letters, gone.
Next Exit Kalamazoo
Marks the end of our game.
