Peach

Juice caresses my tongue
a ballet
dancing on my lips
and pallet,
praising Jah for creation.
A marriage
of beauty and taste.
Sweet insides
running down fingers
and my chin.
Sticky meat of fruit.
centered stony pit.
Rite-value velvety,
loose skin,
concealing
under-appreciated paradise.

Beautiful! You described it perfectly! Except I would substitute "Flesh" for "meat" in line eleven. But then again, I didn't write this poem, did I? :)

I love your style, kinda short and sweet, simple yet you totally get to the heart of the matter.

Thanks for sharing this with us on Teenink :)
