“the apple falls”
and her commentary rings violet
like unemployed neglect.
the suspension is tangible and tastes like
salt. her footsteps plead for salvation
but in a shimmer and a splash,
it’s over. she cradles the remedies,
humming secular nothings.
talk about a
predictable outcome.
