I thought I’d felt this before
But this is different
I thought you weren’t the first
But perhaps you are
I thought I knew the feeling
But this is better
Loved
You say you love me
And I believe it
I say it back
And I believe myself
I thought I’d never say it again
But I guess life goes on
Forgetting him may be hard
But it is the best thing to do
And now I have someone else
Someone who loves me for me
And someone I can love back
