Dreamers

On this blissful summer day
We lounge around
The birds in the trees chirp familiar songs
The scent of the new day is fresh
While lying on our backs
We talk of flying into the stars
The leaves rustle and the birds take off
Their freedom provides us an admirable dream

The clouds’ shapes play with our imaginations as the river’s relaxing tune seduces our souls while the colors overwhelms our minds we think of future times

The taste of laughter is sweet
As we carelessly run through the trees
They seem to grow taller as we get further into the woods
The stars swirl among us
We wonder when it’s to soon
But we don’t think for to long
For we know then it will be too late

The clouds’ shapes play with our imaginations as the river’s relaxing tune seduces our souls while the colors overwhelms our minds we think of future times

As if stuck in slow motion
Thoughts dance through our minds.
In the past life seemed dull
But as we glance down at the path beneath us
Which stretches far ahead it is enriched with
New and bright colors
Life has embraced us with her beauty

The cloud’s shapes play with our imaginations as the river’s relaxing tune seduces our souls while the colors overwhelms our minds we think of future times

In the past it was hard to breathe
Because we had to reminded ourselves for so long
Now the fresh air expands our lungs
The scent of smoke still lingers
And now that we’ve become so careless
Life is somehow different
The birds’ freedom provide us with this idea
To be high in the sky
And we lie back down and continue to think
Just think
Just dream
Dream away the day
