United we Fall
The sky contorts
A purple-ish fright
The air shivers and moans and groans
We shall not go back; only forward
No left, no right, the path is straight.
Our minds together
Unique, not here
They watch and punish and scare
No individuals, a cyborg nation
One thought, one line, no hesitation.
A stray moves
It's out of uniform
Leaders attack and fight and fail
He gets away, run wildly free
Safe from torture, safely hidden; he's gone now.
It started as one
Now there are more
They want freedom and protection and to be alone
No more marching, they want to rule
They're done, they're different; no more one.
