1
The body wanders, slight evasive
To reach a foreign voice

Half-light bedroom,
Agonizing by a window sill,
A head, distant

2
No mist today,
The city is in full parade,
Colors, veils,

Speeded pavement to God,
Forsaken, forgotten
By a column, a leaf

3
To find, to seek,
To destroy,
To walk head-to-the-floor

Smile, simile pretended
Aura,
Conceal your sufferings,
Gate is passed

4
Lamplight owl,
By hour clock tower
To strike the chest,

Wonderment
Of lullabies head-torn
By infant tables,
Tales of madness

5
Small road,
Shadowed marble holes

Empty glasses
To procreate moods,
Discern faces,
Stun and equal

Divide
6
All named,
Meaning-given,
Chosen and buried,

Born again
And reburied purpose,
A sound

7
Being is,
For me I am being,
But streets sleep,
Being themselves
No talking

Down,
By the sea
Everything
Gains weight

8
Sun-out
Sun-in
Locked,
Tied bed

Handshake,
Wink,
Handshake

9
Words flawless,
Voice seraphic,
Movement,

Outside,
Within
Wind-blown

10
A voice,
Twenty voices speaking,
Eyes diverting,

Classroom corner,
Forgotten,
Unnamed,
Already dead and going.
