The Battle Within

Playing games with my soul,
Mind racing, losing all control.
Cannot find the light.
An army of one,
Hides from the sun,
We depart tonight, to fight.
In this battle, we face our fears,
Rising with laughter, falling with tears.
All fears forgotten,
We see an end,
We fight a foe,
Once a friend.
We find weakness,
big or small,
We take advantage,
give it our all.
Sun gone, stars bright,
Tonight's the night, we set things right.
