Oh, my piano
You were a newborn
When we met.
You sounded quite ordinary.

I was a young five year old,
With no trace of
Musical talent.

As the years passed,
You sounded better
Your voice changed from dull,
To a melody as fresh as dew.

Gradually I also matured and developed,
Bringing the two of us closer.

Without you,
I cannot find peace.

Without you,
I cannot speak and laugh.

I will always return to you.
Please stay with me,
My loving piano.
