That Boy
Beyond the eyes of bittersweet.
I saw a boy I'd like to meet.
His eyes so blue, his hair so dark.
On and on I could hark.
But whats so true and whats so fair.
I saw that girl standing right there.
Such a disappointment, such a let down.
Straight to the floor, head face down.
A tap on my shoulder oh so gentle.
There he was so coincidental.
He asked of my troubles then for my hand.
We walked and we talked as I said, "you'll never understand".
