Suns burn and seas crash,
Stars wheel in jagged tracks,
And light may cease to be,
But I hold a candle.
This small flame has a name.
Humble in its start, many fires may be birthed.
Alas, a passion stirs from heartcry.
I hold a candle named hope.

In living for eternity, there is a lot to hope for. Romans 8:18 is a good inspiration.
