Fake Rose

Sitting on the grass on a hot sunny day
enjoying a nice picnic
It was only you and me.
we had a blast and you said
you had a gift for me.
For a minute,
I thought I was on parental control
this was too good to be true.
I had butterflies tingling in
my stomach.
all of a sudden I realized I was
speechless,
you had just told me you loved me
and gave me a rose.
I thought it was real until I
touched it and you told me..
"that rose symbolizes my love
for you,it will never die."
